COVID-19 Appropriate Behaviours

Ministry of Health & Family Welfare launched a small educative video on appropriate behaviours to practice in order to prevent COVID-19.

Some key behaviours:

  1. Maintain physical distance of 6 feet in public places.
  2. Wear reusable handmade face — cover/mask all the times.
  3. Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth.
  4. Cover nose and mouth while sneezing and coughing.
  5. Wash hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and water or alcohol – based hand sanitizer .
  6. Don’t chew tobacco, khaini etc., or spit in public places.
  7. Regularly clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
  8. Avoid unnecessary travel.
  9. Do not discriminate against people affected by COVID-19, their caregivers or anyone supporting fight against COVID-19.
  10. Keep number of guests to the minimum if social event can not be postponed.
  11. Do not visit crowded place/ Avoid mass gathering.
